Homework

Homework:

Students will receive homework on Monday to be returned on Friday.  Homework is used as a review of skills that have already been taught in class. It is meant to build the routine of time management and responsibility to complete work and return on time. Homework is never meant to be stressful for students or families. 

*If at anytime, your child seemed stressed, confused, or overwhelmed about the homework please just send it back to school with a note or email.  I will review that work with the student at school to assure understanding.  

Each week the homework will consist of a Monthly reading log to keep track of their 60 minutes per week of reading, they will only need to do a written response 2 times per week. The spelling work/ Grammar practice is 2 times per week, and math review 3-4 times per week.  

Please keep in mind the homework will vary over the course of the year based on what we are working on in the classroom each week.
