Reading

Our Literacy block in 3rd grade follows the "Daily 5" literacy workshop model. In this model students are given some choice about when they will complete a variety of assigned tasks, with the expectation that they will complete all five of the daily choices.

The Daily 5 choices are:

• Read to Self 
• Read to Someone
• Word Work
• Work on Writing
• Meet with Teacher
